I am quite excited this year. Sadly Mindy will not be joining me this time, though I still plan on having a lot of fun.
I have been talking with several people about writing special entries for this blog. So far I have Mindy, Emma, Jess, Kristen and myself. I still need to talk to a few people to see if they are in. These entries will be small entries about something they found online, something of their expertise, or just a little rant. Hopefully it will work out alright.
I need to spend some time with friends, I have been so busy lately I am missing all the fun. Help!

It is warm outside, nearly spring. The sun shines late into the evening with the DST change. The pale force begins to show its hand. All of that is great, but certainly not least, it is time for the Formula One teams to unload their pieces of art and technologically supreme machines and run them at break neck speeds to the joy of myself and millions of other fans in the world.
Starting tonight at ten o’clock on the SPEED channel you can catch practice, with qualifying starting at the same time Friday. The full length race event will follow on Saturday night at eleven o’clock. Make sure to bring your shorts and water bottles though as it is expected to be over 38* C (100* F) down under in Melbourne, Australia.
All of that excitement and I have not even mentioned the Formula One fantasy league that is all setup. You can check out more information on the forum there and check the current standings. I am really excited to see how everyone fairs. I think Kent and Jess have the best overall picks. I just pick favorites. :-P
I have been trying to spread the enjoyment to everyone I can on this Formula One fun. I got Jess hooked about three years ago and Mindy is slowly becoming interested with time. My next targets are Steph and Kent. Watch out!
I was planning on having a mini get together at my house on Saturday night with some friends to enjoy the event but it sounds like that will not happen this time. I was looking forward to having some humm fun with people. Next time will be better though ;-)

Honestly, I am unsure if I can gabber enough to warrant a new entry, but at a request of some kind people I shall. Between Facebook & Forums I have had nothing really to share for here. I have been doing a lot of playtime lately, nothing new there.
New is Burnout Paradise, which is nearly finished, oh joy. Its getting a bit drag out though. Ranking upwards gets old after a few times. Unless you like new rides, there really fails to be a point. I have most fun with just cruising Paradise City at full throttle, finding jumps. It reminds me of Midtown Madness back in the late 90s. A very fun game overall. Honestly besides that game, I am going to be pretty well bored for some time. I am not really into GTA, though I am sure I will venture about looking for trouble for a few hours at least. I think they need to make sequels to launch titles they had on Xbox like Perfect Dark and Kameo.
Work has been similar to knock down drag out routine it always has been, for many months now. This is a great thing though because now I have slowly perfected by duties to take the least time possible so I can sit in IRC rooms all day and waste time “geeking” out. Overall I continue to say, I am “content”.
Life overall has just been pretty normal. I did get a new HDTV for those who did not know. I am getting upgraded to HD programming next weekend. I do very much hope that by early March I have most bugs worked out, especially in time for F1 season.

My updates seem to be coming farther between and shorter in length. I honestly do not know if this is simply because I am living a boring life now, if I am becoming lazy with this, or if it is something else. Either way, my apologies again go to you.
I had a wonderful birthday a few weeks back. While I did nothing so very special we did go shopping in Chicago that next weekend and had some good times, Mindy and I.
Lately it has been fairly routine though, I have been just spending a lot of time offline, trying to entertain myself through other means. I have been playing a game called Portal almost every day, attempting to inch forward to a perfect score. It is exactly my style and it never seems to get old. Some mental strain is well worth my rewards. I wish there was some extra things too it though, I feel I am already over the hill for replay ability. I am trying to get through the Orange Box series, slowly. I am not very good at first person shooters so it is taking many trials, many many greater errors.
Meanwhile, PGR4 is extremely fun but does not seem better than previous installments. I enjoy driving in Quebec snow quite a bit though. Snow only amplifies my inabilities which do create some funny replays. I did try my hands at Halo 3 and Guitar Hero lately also. I enjoyed Guitar Hero quite a bit although my skills, again, were less than rock star comparable. Halo 3 is mostly just a joke because I can not seem to get farther than twenty minutes into its story without being killed by bullets, ran over, or somehow accidentally committing suicide to Mindy’s delight.
Life at home is just fine also, excited for cooler air drop, peaking at a delightful soon to be of winter. I am attempting to plan out my trips for 2008, getting a tentative schedule made. I did enjoy watching the final Formula 1 event of the season a few weeks back. It was a nail-biter though it could not have came out much better my favorite hot driver won overall champion. Hopeful 2008 will be a much better season I hope.
I have been talking with new friends here and there lately. They have been helping put different ideas to age old problems for me. I am greatly appreciative of their advice and kindness. This world never ceases to amaze even my sharp mind. I am enjoying a fresh breath of air that everything new is bringing to me though. It really revitalizes me and makes me so much happier inside. That is priceless to me.

Mindy, my mother, and myself will be heading off to Italy for a week. It will be stupendous! We have most all of it planned with some surprises in order I hear. We will be visiting the Monza circuit while over there this weekend, also well as visiting Florence, Rome, and all the other good things that come with Italy. Not to mention the food! It seems like it has been warmer than usual to me. Maybe that is just my cold blooded body talking. This summer has also been a demanding one with so many things going on. Mindy and I have been going places left and right traveling different places, really doing things I never do any other time. I am super pumped up about our trip later this summer/fall. I never like being airborne across oceans though but the visit should be well worth it. I have all kinds of special things planned to do on the trip, some of them are just too exhilarating to wait for!
In other news, my car broke down last weekend while driving on the interstate, such a debacle. Something was wrong with some fuel hose or pump or something seemingly unimportant. Needless to say I was not pleased about this but it was patched up quickly. It was during rush-hour though and I was in the quick lane with no chance to merge to the right. So I basically just sat there for a while haha.
I have not been online a great deal lately which has made me gloomy. I have not been on IRC for months. I have been far too active to mess with any of it. Once I get back from my trip though, this will not continue I will return with a vengeance. I miss talking to all my online acquaintances. There is always e-mail for now though.
The F1 fantasy pool has been going good, just not for me. Mindy is walking away with it completely. Looking at the scoring system it might need to be tweaked for next year given the ability to dominate too easily. I will not take away from her great selections, she did do some homework even though she knew nothing about the subject to start.

Between trips, scorching weather, and demanding work it has just been never ending! It has been an enjoyable few weeks though, spending time with my mother and Mindy. I am excited about going to Italy in September too with both of them. My Xbox has been causing chaos lately. It keeps failing to boot. I hear that perhaps the hard drive is to fault? I would be cheerless if that were the hitch. That means lots of work, and me not doing it. Has anyone played some terrific games lately? I tried playing Forza 2 for about 5 minutes and ended up spinning in loops so many times I became wobbly, I may have to post that video. I have also been trying to get interested in Tomb Raider but it’s not all that suspenseful I guess. Beside are photographs I took while at the Canadian and United States Grand Prix’s. Not anything extraordinary but I had a notion to share. Anyway it is way too early to be thinking hard so I will finish this and head to work now. :-P
